Please find information below on attending the Communicable Diseases & Immunisation Conference 2024.

Event Registration
Upon arrival, please ensure you collect your conference name badge and program from the registration desk. Delegates must wear their lanyard at all times during the conference.

The Conference registration will be located at the Ground Floor, Great Hall Registration Desk of the BCEC and will be open from the following times: 

Tuesday 11 June 2024: 8:00am to 5:00pm
Wednesday 12 June 2024:
 8:00am to 5:00pm
Thursday 13 June 2024: 8:00am to 5:00pm

The conference program will be available when you register at the conference and on the confernece Mobile APP.

Program Overview

Tuesday 11 June 2024: Conference Opening, Opening Plenary 1, concurrent sessions and Welcome Reception 

Wednesday 12 June 2024: Conference Plenary 2 and 3, concurrent sessions and Conference Dinner

Thursday 13 June 2024: Conference Plenary 4, Debate, Closing Plenary and Conference close.

Conference Welcome Reception
Date: Tuesday 11 June 2024
Time: 5:45pm to 6:45pm
Location: Brisbane Convention and Exhibtion Centre, Great Hall 1 & 2, amongst the exhibtion.
Canapes and non-alcoholic beverages will be served throughout the night. Alcoholic beverages will be available to purchase.  

Conference Networking Dinner
Date: Wednesday 12 June 2024
Venue: Brisbane Convention and Exhibtion Centre, Plaza Terrace Room BCEC (Red Level)
Time: 7:00pm - 10:00pm
Cost: This is a ticketed event and there are a limited number of places, so please book early to avoid disappointment. Extra tickets may be purchased for guests if desired. Non-alcoholic beverages will be provided throughout the night. Alcoholic beverages will be available to purchase.

Morning/Afternoon Tea and Lunch will be served in the Great Hall 1&2 amongst the exhibtion, BCEC.

Name Badge and Lanyards
Name badges can be collected from the registration desk during the times indicated above; delegates must wear their lanyard at all times during the conference. 

Dietary Requirements:

The venue will be been notified of any dietary requirements delegates have provided PHAA during the online registration process. If you have a dietary requirement and have not yet notified PHAA, please email at least 1 week prior to the conference start, to ensure provisions can be made.

Dress Code
The dress code for the conference is smart casual. Please note that the venue can become cold at times so please bring along a scarf or jumper just in case.

Evaluation Questionnaires
After the conference, all delegates will receive an email with an evaluation form. We kindly ask that you fill it out.
You can also provide our PHAA Events Team with any feedback at the registration desk.
